The popular Italian tale of the puppet that can walk and talk like a real boy.  Pinocchio is easily convinced to join in on the misadventures of going to a puppet show instead of school or an island that seems to be a place of paradise but really is a trap for naughty boys. In the end, Pinocchio learns that being honest and obedient are the keys to becoming a real boy.
