TMP continues to provide
quality education and outreach programs in music and theater arts. Our
programs are designed to allow students to develop cohesive relationships,
learn musical theater skills, and work together toward a common goal.
CampTMP:
Our Winter Break,
Spring Break and Summer Musical Theater Youth Camps, empowers
young people to express themselves more fully through musical theater.
Campers explore a host of classes in theater, music, dance and design. The
After-School Theater Academy offers local youth the opportunity to
take a variety of classes throughout the school year at TMP.
Winter Break Musical Theater Camp
– December 19-21, 27–29, 2007 A week–long program concluding in a
fully-staged musical performance.
Spring Break Musical Theater Camp
– March 31-April 4, 2008 This intense, week-long program culminates
in two performances of a fully staged musical.
Summer Musical Theater Youth
Camp -
July 14 -August 8, 2008 This four-week camp concludes with two
fully-staged musical theater productions.
Student Matinee
production of Alice in Wonderland will
allow student groups a mid-week opportunity to experience live musical
theater.
The Young at Heart Players, our Senior Theatre
Troupe, offers classes and an annual production. Education is an extremely
important part of this program giving seniors the opportunity to continue to
acquire skills and confidence.
