Young at Heart Players

The Tacoma Musical Playhouse Education Department is proud to present a program designed especially for our senior community 50 and over.
The Young at Heart Players provides an exciting opportunity for seniors through a performance-based workshop that rehearses three days a week and culminates in a fully-staged musical production for everyone to enjoy. This program is free to all registered participants; directed by Julie Halpin (actor and retired theater director from Curtis High School) and musically directed by Debbie Hushagen. Cast includes those with little to no experience to experienced actors. Everyone who registers and auditions gets a part.

There are only 15 official Young at Heart Players programs, in the country. Tacoma Musical Playhouse is proud to be one of them.
