TICKETHOLDERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION TO ATTEND ANY PRODUCTIONS AT TACOMA MUSICAL PLAYHOUSE

Tacoma Musical Playhouse joins area performance groups—including Tacoma Arts Live, Tacoma Little Theatre, New Muses Theatre Company, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Opera, Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Seattle Symphony, ACT – A Contemporary Theatre, Seattle Rep, The Washington Center for the Performing Arts, and Village Theatre—in requiring masking and vaccinations or negative COVID-19 testing to ensure a safe and successful return of the arts to the Puget Sound.

PROOF OF VACCINATION
Tacoma Musical Playhouse asks our audiences to join us in providing the safest space possible for patrons, cast, crew, and staff as we again raise the curtain. Our updated COVID-19 policy requires ticketholders to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. “Fully vaccinated” means your performance is at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose. To enter the theater, please bring a photo ID and proof of vaccination, either your physical vaccination card, a picture of your vaccination card, or a digital vaccination record. Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.

UNVACCINATED PATRONS
Guests not vaccinated, under age 12, those who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to entering the theater or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time. Proof shall be a printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) OR an email/ text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory. The information provided should include name of person tested, type of test performed, and date and time of negative test result (date of negative PCR test result must be within prior 48 hours). Matching photo ID required at the door. Self-reported negative test results that are not from a test provider, a laboratory, or a health care provider cannot be accepted.

If for some reason you do not have the proper documentation available when you arrive at the theater, you will be offered a voucher for a future performance.

FACE MASKS
In accordance with state and local guidelines, face masks are required for entry. Masks must completely cover nose and mouth. Gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable. If wearing a face mask that does not comply with WA State policy, TMP will provide a face mask for patrons. Masks must be worn at all times except while eating or drinking for brief periods. Prolonged periods of mask removal are not permitted for eating or drinking – masks must be worn between bites and sips.

This vaccination policy is in effect for ALL performances now through January 2, 2022, and will be re-assessed on an ongoing basis.
