There are many ways to get involved with TMP – to support live theater, ensure access to the arts, prepare children for a creative future and safeguard the theater’s positive financial impact on our community.

Tacoma Musical Playhouse has Mainstage, TMP Family Theater and CampTMP productions.  We reach a very broad audience of adults, students, schools and families in the Puget Sound region. TMP is a non-profit organization and the only theater in Pierce County that solely produces theater.  We are the largest community theater in the Pacific Northwest.

Ticket sales alone are not enough to pay for everything a nonprofit theater gives its community each season. TMP relies on individual donors, foundations, corporations, government funding, and special events to cover the remaining expenses in producing Broadway-caliber musicals, ensuring the musical art form thrives and delivers numerous education and outreach programs to our community.

There are many ways that you can support our efforts to ensure that present and future audiences experience the musical excitement and artistic excellence of Tacoma Musical Playhouse. With your participation, Tacoma Musical Playhouse creates theater arts classes, education outreach, and arts access programs.

“Tacoma Musical Playhouse’s performers possess amazing talent! Although the stars are simply marvelous, all the singers, dancers, and musicians demonstrated professionalism far beyond community theater expectations.”
-TMP Patron at The Buddy Holly Story, February 2017
