Scholarships Available: Our needs-based scholarships are intended to give performance opportunities to youth who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Scholarships are available for summer camp. Complete the online Scholarship Application and turn it into our box office or Educational Director.

CampTMP Presents Summer Camps 2024

- Camp goes on sale Friday, March 1st and will remain on sale until full.
- Registration for Finding Nemo Kids will open on Wednesday, March 6th and will remain on sale until full.
- Registration for the Raise Your Voice will open Friday, April 26th and will remain on sale until full.
- As of 1:26pm 3/15/24 – Finding Nemo Kids, A Year With Frog and Toad Kids, The Jungle Book Kids, Beauty and the Beast JR. and Camp Rock are SOLD OUT.
- We do not plan on adding second casts, once a camp fills you will be able to email kayla@tmp.org to get on the waitlists in case we are able to add additional spaces or have drops.
- Camp grade level is based on campers’ grade level for the 2024-2025 school year.
- All rehearsals will take place at The Spire (710 S. Anderson St) and all performances at Tacoma Musical Playhouse (7116 6th Ave).
- Students in grades 1 to 3 will rehearse from 9:00 to 4:00 for two weeks and students in grades 4 and up will rehearse from 9:00 to 4:00 for four weeks.
- Summer Camp Orientation will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 5:30pm at The Spire (710 S. Anderson St).

Additional tickets may be purchased at the box office or online for $7.00 – $12.00 per ticket.
CampTMP’s Summer Break Camp is a two to four-week, musical theater intensive open to students entering 1st-12th grades plus college freshman. In only two to four-weeks students will memorize lines, block the show, and learn all the music and choreography necessary to put on a musical. At the end of the Camp, the cast will perform for friends, family and community members. This rehearsal process gives students an opportunity to experience the fast-paced nature of theater during their school vacation! All students are welcome from all school districts and home schools.

WHAT TO EXPECT
A Summer full of singing, dancing, acting and growth! Our Camp Day goes from 9am to 4pm and starts with a full group warm up. We then break into our casts for two blocks of rehearsal before joining back together for an outside lunch and recess hour and then jump back into rehearsals for the afternoon. Throughout the Summer guest artists come in to do workshops with some of the casts to help them on their journey to producing their show.
