Young at Heart Players


Tacoma Musical Playhouse is proud to present a program designed specifically for the senior community. The Young at Heart Players provides an exciting theatrical opportunity for mature adults, ages 50 and older, through a performance based workshop that culminates in a fully-staged musical production for everyone to enjoy.
Young at Heart Players is a free program for people ages 50 and older. The group meets for eight weeks and culminates in a fully-staged musical on TMP’s stage! Past shows include 9 to 5, Godspell, Nunsense, Working and Guys and Dolls SR.  This year YAHP presents, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN.  The musical explores the life of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang, as adults.

These intensive, week-long programs culminate with three performances of a fully-staged, Broadway-style musical. They are open to adults 50+ and are a great experience for both anyone experienced in theater and those who are doing theater for the first time. Young at Heart Players culminates in three fully staged performances!



Cast is supplied with scripts before show  begins. One of the greatest things about Young at Heart Players is that every person is guaranteed a part in the show.
